Pierre: 2007 Little Miss

Hunter
St. Pierre was crowned Little Miss Fort Fairfield for 2007 at a pageant held
last Friday night at the Fort Fairfield Middle/High School gym.
Hunter is the daughter of Jonathan and Angela
St. Pierre. She performed a tap
dance routine to a James Brown song.
Audrey Matson placed 1st runner-up.
She is the daughter of Mark and Jennifer Matson.
Her talent was a monologue entitled “The runaway Potato” and featured
original artwork shown on the large projector screen to go along with her
self-composed story.
Other contestants were: Marissa Brouette,
daughter of Jerry and Heidi Brouette; Kayla Carmichael, daughter of Lynn Spence
and Harley Carmichael; Naomie Haines, daughter of April Clapper and Chris
Haines; and Gracie Griffeth, daughter of John and Kimberly Griffeth.
The pageant was once again produced by
Starlight Rebekah Lodge with Penny Johnson the producer; Sandra Durepo and Peggy
Campbell, Production Managers.
Sponsors for this year’s pageant were;
Graphic Utilities, Key Bank, County Federal Credit Union, Fort Fairfield Police
Department, Fort Fairfield Hardware, Griffeth Farms, LeVasseur Backhoe, Hillside
IGA, MMG Insurance Co., McGillan, Inc., Acadia Medical Supply and H.O.
Perry/Haines Insurance.
Entertainment was provided by the Northstar
Twirlers; 2006 Little Miss Fort Fairfield, Amber Forsman; and 2006 Little Miss
Maine Potato Queen, Stephanie Winslow.
The girls’ escorts were Seth Cote, son of
Janelle and Paul Cote; and Christopher Giberson, son of Mark and Janet Giberson.
Shawn Murchison was the M.C. for the event
which featured a beach and surf theme for its opening number.
