The 1987-88 Fort Fairfield High School Eastern Maine Championship Varsity Boys Basketball team was recently honored at the annual "Night of Basketball at Fort Fairfield High School.  Each team member received a plaque made of wood from the former gymnasium floor.  Pictured are (from left):  Tim Watt, Assistant Coach; Scott Shields, Joe Bernard, Curt Patterson, Larry Gardner, Coach; Renis LeVasseur, Mark Davenport, James Bruce, Shawn Manter and Aaron McCormick.  As of 2007, this is the last Fort Fairfield Varsity Boys basketball team to win the Eastern Maine Championship.
