One Nation, Under....Who?

The following is the body of an entire thesis, which was originally edited and printed in the Viewpoints section of the Oct. 29, 2003 Star Herald.  Text in blue illustrates that which Star Herald editors chose to edit out.

It is now agreed by most that the war in Iraq is, indeed, a manufactured war in order to benefit the wealthy few who run it, but the problem is far greater than most people understand.

Some have asked why do we have the same problems regardless of which party is in power? After careful research into the matter, I am prepared to offer my thesis on the geopolitical power structures which govern not only the United States, but the world as well.

The United States government is now run by a group of individuals called, to borrow a term from Georgetown University history professor, Carroll Quigley, the Quartet." (Professor Quigley described a Quartet as the ruling power structure in Germany in the period prior to WWII). Within this power structure the position of president is that of mid-level figurehead and Congress a rubber stamp.

The US Quartet, similar to that one in Germany decades ago, is made up of four dominant groups all working in concert with each other. Those groups are: 1.) military, 2.) bureaucracy, 3.) corporations, and 4.) media.

1.) Military: This group consists of the armed forces, local police, state police (who, incidentally, share military rank and insignia with full time armed forces) and most County sheriffs. These are the armed loyal enforcers who do the bidding of the group in charge.

2.) Bureaucracy: This group consists of the President, Congress, Judiciary, and all of the alphabet soup agencies". The education system of our country has also been brought under the control of the Quartet through the bureaucracy of the National Education Association, which is why public school students will never learn of its existence.

3.) Corporations: Like the former plutocratic system of government in England, it takes a lot money to elect willing servants. We the People have been strip-mined of our money through taxes and regulations. Corporations, however, enjoy free reign in the economic sector to do what they will - all at the behest of loyal political party candidates - again from both sides of the aisle. The Federal Reserve Bank is, perhaps, the largest and most influential corporation (it being private and not a branch of the Federal government) in directing the affairs of the United States. This foreign-owned bank has been given the exclusive monopoly power of counterfeiting money for the use of the U.S. government since 1913, as well as collecting taxes via its sub-corporation - the I.R.S.

4.) Media: Perhaps the most influential group of all in the Quartet, the media exercises a discreet method of policy-making by reporting manufactured" news which is psychologically crafted to benefit the aims and goals of the Quartet. While the news media may currently appear to be critical of President Bush, they will never deal with issues which may have an adverse effect on the power structure of the Quartet. Those issues being: 1.) the illegality of the Federal Income Tax, 2.) the government’s involvement, and subsequent cover-up, of the 9-11 disaster, 3.) the legalized counterfeiting of money by the Federal Reserve and all affiliated banks, and 4.) the adoption of various planks of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto such as: driver’s license, vehicle registration, a strong central bank, and free public school education, to name a few. There is one controlling group which threads the four groups of said Quartet together - the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Formed in 1921 as an offshoot of Britain’s Royal Institute for International Affairs, the people who formed the CFR envisioned a world empire federated under England with the belief that they could, with the proper spirit and guidance bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth." They established their base of operations here in the U.S. 80+ years ago and have been instrumental in placing their members in all four sections of the above-listed Quartet. The CFR has quietly recruited politicians and bureaucrats as well as top editors from all branches of media - television, newspaper, and radio. While these members don’t openly advertise the aims of their club, they mold, craft and edit the presentation of relevant stories in an effort to prop up, defend and promote their ideology. Much of the time this crafting is done under the guidance of a U.S. Army Psychological Warfare Operations (PSYOPS) team, using the guerilla warfare tactic of presenting authentic" news media to indigenous populations in order to affect a desired outcome (this tactic is detailed in US Army Field Manual FM 31-21, Guerrilla Warfare and Special Forces Operations, §§ 150-151) - though this is usually done at the national level.

The CFR, being a British innovation, operates under the old British guidelines of business etiquette: where most duties, powers, and actions were controlled by customary procedures and conventions, not by explicit rules and regulations, and were often carried out by casual remarks between old friends. No record perpetuates most of CFR members’ remarks, and they are generally regarded as private affairs which are no concern of others, even when they involve billions of dollars of the public’s money.

In 1945, the CFR designed and built the United Nations from the wreckage of the League of Nations treaty, which our Senate wisely rejected in 1918. While President G.W. Bush is surrounded by CFR members in his cabinet, it should be noted that he and his Republican cohorts are not alone. Former President Bill Clinton was/is a member of the CFR (which could explain why President Bush has dropped all investigations into his wrongdoings) as were most of the advisors, cabinets and bureaucrats surrounding our Presidents, Senators, and Representatives for the past 80 years.

The CFR currently has a membership in excess of 3,000 highly influential people among those being: Maine Senator Olympia Snowe and US Supreme Court Justices; Sandra Day O’Conner, Ruth Ginsberg, and Steven Breyer. Other members of the CFR are: Bill Cohen, Jesse Jackson, Newt Gingrich, Colin Powell, Catherine Harris, Senators John Kerry, Christopher Dodd, Bob Graham, and Joe Leiberman. Among corporate members you will find; American Express, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Shell Oil, Royal Bank of Canada, IBM, and Procter & Gamble, just to name a few.

Because the major networks; ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and FOX, as well as the print media giants: AP, UPI, Wall Street Journal, etc. are all affiliated with the CFR, and these entities are the ones in charge of counting our votes at the national level, they effectively get to choose our leaders for us - due to no oversight of their vote counting by an unbiased third party. This practice of allowing the CFR-friendly news media to tally votes began just after the death of President John F. Kennedy, with the creation of the private corporation Voter News Service.

In summary, it matters not who is sitting in the White House, or who has control of the House of Representatives, or the Senate. Those positions of power are merely cogs in a much larger machine - the Quartet. When one cog gets worn out (e.g.: public opinion drops) it is replaced by another, with the machine still trudging along in the same direction.

We must view all politicians, newscasts, and military affairs through the spectacles of the Quartet. That is the only way we will understand why things happen the way they do, the will of the people notwithstanding.

Maine Congressman, Michaud, 

Running Defense for I.R.S.

   When I wrote to Maine Congressman, Mike Michaud, regarding the victory of Vernice Kuglin over the I.R.S. he responded with the same condescending "shut up and pay your taxes, serf"-type form letter so typical of the politicians in Washington, today.

   In July, 2003 Vernice Kuglin, a Federal Express pilot, was found not guilty of evading nearly $1 million in income taxes, by a Federal Grand jury in Memphis, Tennessee.  This due to the fact that the US Atoorney representing the IRS could not produce a copy of any law which make either Ms. Kuglin, or most Americans liable to pay Income Tax.

I asked Congressman Michaud for Washington's official response on this landmark legal decision. The letter I received from him was obviously written by the I.R.S.'s legal team and contained a plethora of U.S. Code references (of which this writer is intimately familiar with). But, the most interesting statement was near the opening of the letter, which stated, "the I.R.S. collects taxes in a lawful way..."

It is agreed that the I.R.S. collects taxes in a "lawful way" by using the Uniform Commercial Code and the U.C.C.-1 financing statement to confiscate private property, the Federal District courts to obtain default judgements, and an unwitting police power to seize private property. However, just because the tax is collected in a lawful way, does not address the illegal status of the tax itself.

Until more Americans take the stand Ms. Kuglin did, and demand to be shown any law which they have been told purportedly exists, our economy and society will continue down the path of despotism which it is already happily proceeding.

It Doesn't Look Real

The new $20 Federal Reserve Note is now beginning to circulate with lackluster fanfare.

"It doesn't look real," "It looks like Canadian money," and "It looks like Monopoly money" are just a few of the comments regarding the colorful new currency.

With color changes implemented in order to "combat counterfeiting" as the excuse for changing our money, the Federal Reserve really has far more sinister plans in store, considering the fact that massive new anti-counterfeiting strategies were implemented just over 3 years ago. Anti-counterfeiting is really an oxymoron coming from the Fed - a private international bank - since they have been counterfeiting money legally since 1913 and presenting it to us as what appear to be the old silver certificates - but are in reality nothing but worthless debt notes.

What the Fed intends to do is have a two-tiered money system - where the colorful "funny" money circulates here in the US and the older traditional notes circulate internationally.

This will allow them, in theory, to inflate the money supply without fear of inflation. However, the effects internationally will be devastating to its value - by design.

The Fed's plans are to, one day, eliminate paper currency and replace it with a fully traceable electronic funds network.

Child-Wrecking Seminar Scheduled in Augusta

On November 19, 2003, Governor Baldacci will open the Reasons for Hope Child Development Conference at the Augusta Civic Center.

With lectures by prominent socialist change agents, the conference will open with a lecture on how to handle the 40 Developmental assets of children by using theoretical (unproven) foundations and work on natural asset builders." The fact that bureaucrats and change agents would refer to our children as assets" is not surprising. When one understands that the Birth Certificate is used to mark every child born since 1933 with a serial number for the purposes of pledging him/her as collateral against the State and National debt with foreign banks, it becomes crystal clear why children are described by the banking term: assets."

The seminar will continue on with discussions on how the State and Federal government should usurp the role of childrens’ parents by ensuring that positive youth development is a priority and commitment of every state agency and civic organization." Since the government schools started focusing more on development skills" in the late 1960s and less on teaching children how to think, more and more fighting and serious altercations have been taking place at institutions which were originally intended only for the diffusion of knowledge.

   Other non-education related programs which will be presented as legitimate are: ...positive youth development efforts that embraces all aspects of the environmental, internal and social change..." Also, the conference will illustrate how to use children as change agents" in combating obesity by lobbying soft drink and snack food companies to change their business practices. 50 years ago, obesity wasn’t a problem with our youth, as they were kept busy doing manual labor (chores) around the house such as: chopping/hauling wood, moving snow, mowing lawns (with manual push mowers), and tending gardens. Today, we seem to think we need State bureaucrats, who know nothing about manual labor, to lead our children in all aspects of their lives in the prevention of obesity. All of this while the government forces parents to work two jobs just to pay all the necessary taxes to fund the debt which they have placed us all in.

Many state representatives, and business leaders are expected to attend this brainwashing.

Thanksgiving Day

Governor Bradford set apart a day for thanksgiving in 1621 in order to thank God for the good harvest of the Pilgrims. The day has been observed ever since and in New England it ranked as the great annual festival.

On November 26, 1789 the first national Thanksgiving Day was established by a congressional resolution and by George Washington's proclamation. It was intended to formally offer thanks for the Constitution. The holiday was opposed by Anti-federalists who maintained that Washington's proclamation violated States' rights (to set their own holidays.)

President Lincoln revived the original custom in 1863. In 1939, President Roosevelt proclaimed the next to the last Thursday in November as Thanksgiving Day. The purpose was to lengthen the Christmas shopping period. After a three-year trial merchants reported no benefit from the experiment, and it was announced that the old date would be reverted to in 1942.

The customary turkey is a reminder of the four wild turkeys served at the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving feast.

Federalized Schools a Bad Deal for Maine

The great "No child left behind" being foisted upon Maine's education system will only speed up the process of dumbing down our children, and will serve what was not achieved in "goals 2000". Under that program, if a school system did not have a plan in place that met the goals 2000 criteria, the feds could place the school in receivership and a federal agent would be put in place of the superintendent and school board until such time as the school adopted an acceptable program. Under NCLB, the person put in charge of a "failing school" is currently going to be from the "state".

One of the schools in my district has supposedly failed the goals of Math and Reading for 2 years and parents may send their children to another school "in the district."

My question: Since there are no other schools in the district are they going to be able to attend other schools in our "REGION"? Is this the way that regionalization is to be forced upon us?

One of the things that is being overlooked in this whole fiasco is the ballot proposal to require the "state" to fund 55% of education in the state. One must study the Maine Constitution closely, and communities must take a close look at what they are giving up. On my last check, the state is only able to influence that portion of the program to which they willingly contribute. At present that is about 40 to 45% of the costs of operating the schools. Local school committees can, and should, use their power to control the remaining 55 to 60% of the program. That would insure adequate instruction in the "3 R's" and learning about the CONSTITUTION--its rights and RESPONSIBILITIES. At this point in time, they should be drilled in the 10th amendment. Summarize: ALL POWERS NOT SPECIFICALLY GIVEN TO THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESERVED FOR THE PEOPLE AND THE STATES! That would eliminate the foolishness called NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. There is NO PROVISION IN THE CREATION OF OUR central GOVERNMENT GIVING THEM ANY VOICE IN THE EDUCATION OF OUR YOUTH. As I mentioned in an earlier message, I asked the Commissioner why she even considered implementing NCLB since the Federal Government has no voice in the education of our children.

When there was no response, I stated that I can only believe it is because of the money! She admitted that it was the money. My comment was that it was tragic that the department was willing to sell our children's education down the river for a few dollars.

I think it is time for the people to speak and ACT.
